Avionic equipment installation

SCA's avionic engineers have appreciable experience in enhancing heavy aircrafts, independent from its type, with installation of avionic systems and implementing the required wiring and more specifically EWIS provisions. Designing avionic components is also part of our competency. SCA offers a wide range of solutions that take user experience to new heights, including:

    • IFE system removal/installation/adaptation (general screen, in-seat display, WIFI IFE equipment)
    • Cabin lighting system design and modification
    • In-seat Power Supply System (ISPSS) removal/installation (including MCU, ISPC, and PFDB)
    • Wiring and routing
    • SATCOM System installation
    • T-PED testing to DO-294/ED-130
    • Issuance of the relevant Service Bulletins (SB) according to the above mentioned activities
    • Installation of ATC Mode-S and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast(ADS-B) System
    • Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Installation
    • Passenger Address System Modification
    • In-Flight Entertainment System Installation
    • Cabin Interior LED Lighting Installation
    • Electronic Flight Bag Installation
    • Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) Calculations
    • Aircraft Wiring and EWIS Modifications
    • Seat layouts changes (LOPA)
    • Emergency floor path lighting changes/repairs
    • Weight/Balance and loading schedules
Structures

SCA structural & analysis team with related academic studies (with majority of mechanical & aero-structural fields) and industrial experience are involved in projects related to aircraft structures and substructures including new structure design, minor repair design, major repair design and installation design. In this regard, a variety of analysis, test and modelling for both isotropic and composite materials are defined as below:

    • 24/7 Airline and MRO AOG Support for Structural Damages
    • Development of Major and Minor Repair
    • Providing Structural Analysis for STC Projects
    • Performing damage tolerance analysis
    • Development of Composite Repairs
    • Structural Repair Design on Fuselage, Wing, Empennage
    • Structural Repair Classification
    • Repairs to cabin interior
    • Modification on Structural Components of Fuselage and Wing
    • Flight Management System Modification
    • Flight Warning System Modification
    • Management and Leadership Development Program for Small to Medium Size Companies
    • Performing some analysis, test and modelling for both isotropic and composite materials including static, strength, frequency, buckling, fatigue (Safe-life and damage tolerance),tensile, hardness, fatigue test, stress corrosion cracking, electrical conductivity, metallography test
According to the knowledge of CS-25 and FAR-25 regulations, all documents are prepared with applicable airworthiness and operational requirements for the structural substantiation which forms part of the overall certification process.
Electrical Systems

Electrical System department is mostly focus on developing design data for products relating to SCA's upcoming POA. the team have been working on generating design data package including compliance documents, drawings, test plans and etc for:

    • B737 and A320 passenger cabin LED Lights
    • Wifi IFE system (Portable and Installed)
    • EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) power supply
    • SSPRAM (Solid State Pre-recorded Announcement and Music) for enhancing traditional aircrafts cabin
    • And what ever we receive from our customers as a request for a solution

Production Services

SCA has applied to ANAC (Portuguese Civil Aviation Authority) to obtain POA certificate. We have plan to receive the Approval until late 2023. SCA has successfully developed aircraft's structural items, including primary and secondary structural parts and finally accomplished to produce the prototypes of those items.
SCA is also focused on AD Kit preparation for airlines and to manufacture in-house the required simple CNC and Sheet metal parts.

our own DOA team members together with our competent DOA partners, are the core initiation of thoughts and ideas to develop products in demand. Regardless of what we have already developed, we are ready to perform a quick and robust R&D activities to develop your demanded parts and to manage it until the end of the production phase.

Our design organization and production department are well qualified for designing, analysis, test, certifying and manufacturing of all types of aircraft's primary structural parts. Static, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance evaluation will be considered and calculated for each item of structures by SCA Design Organization.

We offer our honorable customers the following production services:
